Ha Long Bay’s star dish is the Satay noodle soup, whether beef or chicken – a peanut-crushed delight. The broth is rich, flavourful, with a hint of spice. Over the years, I’ve had many bowls of their Satay soup. Additionally, the experience extends to their absolutely delicious summer rolls and chow mein.

Pho Kim Tuong

📍856 Ellice Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3G 0C4

A Winnipeg favourite, Pho Kim Tuong draws crowds with its extensive menu, including bubble tea. My top pick? The deluxe vermicelli – bursting with flavour, loaded with meats, and features sugar cane shrimp.

I believe it’s the only Vietnamese restaurant in town that provides complimentary fruit.

For a quick bowl of noodle soup when downtown feels distant, T. H. Dang in South Winnipeg is my choice. Customers also rave about their vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, and more.
